Belinda Stewart, R.N.

Owner / CEO

Belinda is originally from Houston, TX where she began her nursing career as a labor and delivery nurse for more than 8 years. She then relocated to Tulsa and joined the Emerge team in February of 2009 before becoming an owner in 2012!

Upon discovering her passion for non-surgical facial aesthetics using cosmetic injectables, Belinda has since been unstoppable. She obtained her certification for the ArqueDerma technique from the Injectability Institute in 2012 before beginning her career with Allergan Aesthetics in 2016 as a brand ambassador and nationally certified injectable trainer using products like Botox, Juvederm and Kybella.

Since becoming an owner of Emerge and a national trainer, Belinda has been busy assisting in the operations of all four Emerge locations, not to mention Emerge Partner Affiliates as well as continuing to see patients at Emerges South Tulsa location all while traveling the nation performing advanced injectable trainings.

In January 2022, Belinda had yet another career milestone. She is now considered faculty with Allergan Medical Institute and had her first ever faculty event for A.M.I. at the AmSpa Medical Spa show in Las Vegas. She was a table lead assisting in injection anatomy of live cadaver dissection. In fact, her advanced knowledge and expert skill level has launched her into the top 1% of nurse injectors in the nation which is one of the highest ranks a nurse injector can have but she doesn’t stop there. Belinda is now also a national trainer for SkinMedica products as well!

When she’s not busy blazing the trail in the medical aesthetics world, you can find her hanging with her family and traveling. She and her husband, Matt, have 2 kids, Kate and Ben both of whom are attending Oklahoma State University.

Taryn Schell

Owner / Spa Director

Taryn Schell, recently nominated and selected as Entrepreneur of the Year at the Greenwood Cultural Center Women in Business Summit started with Emerge in March 2012 before becoming co-owner with Belinda Stewart in September 2014. Originally from Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Taryn has over 17 years of experience in medical management previously working as a spa director and certified laser hair technician for Well Spring Medical Spa until boldly deciding to own a spa of her own. Now that Taryn and Belinda have grown Emerge into four locations, with number five on the horizon in Broken Arrow, her days are filled with managing each location as well assisting in running Emerge’s consulting company, Emerge Partner Affiliates.

Alongside with the Emerge brand, Taryn has a deep passion for philanthropy and empowering and encouraging likeminded women in the workplace. “It was very inspiring to be at the women’s summit. When I first got in this business it was for the love of aesthetics but it’s grown so much more to me over the years. I love giving opportunity to women that didn’t have traditional paths of education or have the support and resources that so many just assume everyone starts with. Seeing a potential in someone that doesn’t see in themselves and watch them develop into a successful career by providing support and a safe environment is the most rewarding feeling. I myself have had people and mentors believe in me before I believed in myself. I wouldn’t be where I am today without them. So here’s to loving, supporting, and encouraging one another.”

When she’s not busy running an empire and inspiring others, Taryn loves cooking, reading, attending concerts and trying new restaurants with her husband and two beautiful daughters.
