Weight Loss Therapy

Weight Loss Therapy at Emerge Tulsa

Let us work with you to determine the cause of your inability to lose weight.

Each strategy we use is different and designed to result in the most optimal weight-loss for you. This can be achieved through supplements and/or prescription medication such as Contrave, Saxenda, Suppress, Qysmia, Semaglutide and Wegovy. Weight loss therapy is available at our Midtown and Integrative Medicine locations.

Contrave

CONTRAVE combines 2 medications that together reduce hunger and control cravings to help you lose weight and keep it off: bupropion HCl and naltrexone HCl.

Saxenda

Saxenda® (liraglutide) injection 3 mg is an injectable prescription medicine used for adults with excess weight (BMI ≥27) who also have weight-related medical problems or obesity (BMI ≥30), and children aged 12-17 years with a body weight above 132 pounds (60 kg) and obesity to help them lose weight and keep the weight off. Saxenda® should be used with a reduced calorie diet and increased physical activity.

Qsymia

Get all-day hunger and cravings control with once-daily Qsymia. Qsymia starts working immediately after you take it. It is thought to reduce your appetite — giving you all-day hunger control.

Semaglutide

Semaglutide is a once-weekly injection for chronic weight management in adults with obesity or overweight with at least one weight-related condition (such as high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, or high cholesterol), for use in addition to a reduced calorie diet and increased physical activity.

Wegovy

Wegovy® is an injectable prescription medication for adults with obesity (BMI ≥30) or overweight (excess weight) (BMI ≥27) who also have weight-related medical problems used with a reduced-calorie meal plan and increased physical activity.

I’ve been on my wellness journey with Emerge for a couple of years. I specifically started focusing on weight loss and body image around a year ago. My main focus was to feel good and be at a healthy weight that worked for me. Amy and her team have helped me find what works for me and I’ve seen incredible results. I struggle with inflammation, blood sugar spikes and dips, food sensitivities, digestive issues and joint pain. Being on wegovy has been life changing. My symptoms have diminished and the extra weight loss hasn’t been disappointing either. They have something for everyone – no matter what your symptoms or goals are. I feel better than I ever have and I owe it all to them. I definitely recommend Amy and her team if you’re ready to look and feel your best. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
