Because CO2 DOT treatments are more immediately intensive than some of our other available laser treatments, there are some minor side effects to be aware of. You might notice your skin looking red or pink after your session, and you should avoid using makeup for a few days afterward to avoid irritation.
You might also experience some swelling, but this is often extremely minimal and will be gone after the second or third day. There is also minimal pain during this treatment, and any residual pain in your skin will subside after a few hours.
