Avoid Direct Sun Exposure

The most important post-peel skin care tip is to avoid direct exposure to the sun. Since your new layer of skin is so delicate, sun exposure can cause burns and even more visible signs of aging. If you find that you must be exposed to the sun, make sure to use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF30 or higher to protect your skin. 


Reinforcing your skin’s protective barrier that was removed during your facial peel is an important step in taking care of your skin. Use a medium or thick moisturizer, and be sure to drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration!

Don’t Over Exfoliate

With all this talk about lasers and all their benefits, I want to remind you of the importance of good skin care.
